First Vet Checkup

We encourage getting your new hedgehog checked by an exotic veterinarian upon purchase, and following up with yearly checkups. Please have the veterinarian scan and record the microchip number on your paperwork at EACH visit. The exotic vet in Morgantown can give health checks for about $65.00 (Cheat Lake Animal Hospital).

Proper Cage Required

To ensure your new hedgehog has the best start to life, Heartfelt Hedgehogs requires that a suitable cage be provided. We have a cage package available for purchase if needed. Please let us know in advance if you would like one of these so we can have one ready to go for you.
